The Goal- Primary vs Secondary

When man identified the existence of a greater world beyond his imaginations, he slipped all his thoughts into an existence of a being acting behind, which he named most of the times a Supreme Power, the God. And hence the spirituality started its work to find Him. The Allies of it, the science called this power a driving force or unifying principle and philosophy called its the Truth. However, when the goal of spirituality is set as finding that Supreme Power, at Individual level where the man lives in many complexities of life, it becomes very very difficult so much so that almost a rarity, as if a sinking man in an ocean finds a small wooden plank to rescue himself. But man became comfortable with the idea of God, as he got releaved to some extent, from the intricacies of life. To go further, he has no other option except to stick to the belief of God's existence and hence the perpetuation of this idea of spirituality.

Simultaneous natural developement of reason in man's brain, understood the rarities of spiritual goals, and hence preferred to tend towards the lower goals, the secondary or tertiary goals of lessening the complexities of life and increasing its comfortability. So the religious life which promised these eecondary goals have flourished with their illogical ideas. Eventhough the mind has developed its sense organ , the reason, it could not see through these illogical ideas and were accepted without dispute or examination. An Individual is more comfortable when he relies on illogic , abstract ideas than logical and deductive ideas. This creates enumerous beliefs. Man 's mind, to say, is just a mass set of beliefs. So his business and livelyhood is depending on these beliefs. Obviously the so called New Age spirituality, which is a part of Capitalism has now invented thousands of things to commoditize to lessen the anxiety of Individual. We cannot say now wheather it is going to work or not. Yes, it will work the same way other businesses are working. Thank you
